He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Ransdell and Florence Elizabeth Ransdell (Perkins); his siblings, Clinton "Barney" Ransdell (Shirley), Grace Schuman (Frank), Cora Mae Hill (Bert Corden), Alice Abramson (Jim), Vivian Heidemann (Willis) and George Ransdell (Maryln); and his brother-in-law Dale Holm.
He is survived by: his wife Iona K. Richards of Woodruff, Kansas.; his children, Cindy Raye (Gary) of Holdrege and Bryan Ransdell of Huntley; his grandson Jacob Ransdell (Megan Fultz) of Phoenix, Arizona; and his sister Mary Jane Holm of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Harvey's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
