She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Schmidt and Grace Schmidt (Bergmeyer); her sister Rosalie Quackenbush; her former husband Royce Clement; and her parents-in-law, Ervin and Katherine Clement.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Alan Clement of Waverly, IA; her granddaughter Brandi Nicole Clement; her sister Charlotte; and her brother-in-law Roger Gronewold. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, cousins, close classmates and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
