It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle D. Fikar of Wilber, Nebraska, born in DeWitt, Nebraska, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wade and Matilda Wade (Outhet); her husband Donald Edward Fikar; her son Donald, Jr.; and her siblings, Clyde, Willis, Harold, Lawrence, James Wade, Ethel Pethoud, Pearle VanArsdale and Ruby Hayek.
She is survived by: her children, Diane, Darin, Susan (Roger Kramer), Daryl (Rebecca Fikar), David Fikar (Diane Fikar) and Gary Racicky (Darin Fikar). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
