It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth E. Smisek of Wilber, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Kenneth Eugene Smisek; his parents, Mary Smisek (Pekarek) and William Smisek; his wife Irene Wittler (Wittler) of Wilber; his sister Darlene Reynolds; his parents-in-law, Janis and Virgil Wittler; his brothers-in-law, Frank Maneth and Jerry Wittler; his daughters, Andrea Gage (Brent) of Iowa City, Ann Smisek of Cumming and Amy Gerend (Tom) of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Carter, Luke, Kenna Gage, Nina Strong, Mary, Lillian and Gretchen Gerend; his sister LaVern Maneth of Sioux Falls, SD; and also, Mary and William Smisek. He was also cherished by his family and greatest pride, his kids and grandkids.
