He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Lorene; his children, Terry Wollenburg and Tanya Wollenburg; his parents, Otto Wollenburg and Katherina Wollenburg (Bergmeier); and his siblings, Raymond Wollenburg (Katie), John Wollenburg (Phyllis), Ernie Wollenburg, Otto Wollenburg, Donald Wollenburg, Robert Wollenburg, Gertrude Powers (F. Michael), Lucille Petree (Jack), Louise Welch (John), Ruth Bartunek (Eugene) and Vernes Foreman (Stanley).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jesse Wollenburg, Ashley Wollenburg and Crystal Stout; his sister Kathryn Adams (Gary); and his sisters-in-law, Ann Wollenburg, Shirlie Wollenburg and Judy Wollenburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; many beloved friends.
A memorial has been established to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
