She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Hamdorf and Elfrieda Hamdorf (Jacobsen); her spouse Meinolph Throener; her children, Sharon Rief (Tom), Steven Throener (Karen) and Mark Throener (Cindy) of Norfolk; her great grandchildren, John and Emily Schrad; and her sibling William Throener.

She is survived by: her brother Delmer Hamdorf (Bev) of Morrison, CO. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
