He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Nagengast and Helen Nagengast (Koch); his parents-in-law, Duane Popken of Scribner The, Ben and Sylvia Michaelis; and his nephew Dennis Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Nagengast of West Point; his children, Bill Nagengast of West Point and Courtney Lase; his granddaughter Zyrra; his children, Darian, Drake Repschlaeger Tim Nagengast (Larry) of Papillion Tami, Mitchell Zobel and Madison Zobel; his siblings, Valdean Vrba (late Ron) of Fremont Norman, Judy Nagengast of California The, Velma Nagengast, Jeri, Johnny Schlepp of Fremont Elaine, Gene Crist of Fremont Dan and Sandy Nagengast of Kansas; and his parents-in-law, Jean, Arlene, Les French of Illinois The, Bob, Carolyn Michaelis, Sharon Michaelis of Dodge Dennis, Linda Michaelis, Ken and Onie Michaelis of West Point. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
