He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Herman and Lena Herman (Harstick); his wife Irene; his son Russ; his wife Ann Vetick of Mary's Catholic Church; his sister Dorothy; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Flores and Marion Woerman.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Kuszak (David) of Ashton, NE, Norm Herman (Lisa) of Yankton, SD and Jean Debban (Shawn Aquino) of Shenandoah, IA; his grandchildren, Brandon Kuszak of San Francisco, CA, Jordan Kuszak (Katherine) of Seattle, WA, Christian Debban (Alyssa) of Carroll, IA, Bethany Herman of Sioux Falls, SD, Conner Debban of Omaha, NE and Caelan Debban (Teagan) of Norfolk, NE; his stepgrandchildren, Seth Aquino of Shenandoah, IA and Taylor Aquino of Grimes, IA; his great grandchildren, Rania, Dahlia Kuszak of Amman Jordan, Holden, Sawyer and Lenora Debban of Carroll, IA.; and his sister Marcella Woerman. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, special neighbors, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Minnick Funeral Home-West Point (830 S Colfax St, West Point, NE 68788). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (343 N Monitor St, West Point, NE 68788).
