It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valeria Schlecht of West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Knobbe and Anna Knobbe (Meiergerd); her husband Dennis J. Schlecht of Mary's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Clement Knobbe (Mildred) and Elsie Mahlberg (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Donna) of West Point, Rod Schlecht (Dara), Reese, Trey, Jena Jennifer Rief (Roger) and Bradee Schiefelbein (Travis) of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Liam, Blakelee, Bryant, Brendan, Brenna Jamie Wiechman (John), Jozlynn, Jerzey, Jemma Amber Hugo (Todd), Sawyer, George, Daxton and Dylan; her daughter Barb Wortman (Roger) of Eagle River, AK; her granddaughter Tara Hanes (Brad); her daughter Beckett; and her brother Harry Knobbe (Doris) of West Point.
Memorials will be directed by the family.
