Terry M. Scherer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 83, Terry M. Scherer of West Point, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Terry M. Scherer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Candace Scherer (Bowman) and Warren "Bud" Scherer of Pilger Nebraska; his wife Janet; his brother Douglas; his stepfathers, Wilbur Danner and Pete Horst; his parents-in-law, Viola Mewis and Allen Tiedtke; and his stepfather-in-law Lester Mewis.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Scherer (Lori) of Beemer, NE, Bob Scherer (Cindy) of Dakota Dunes, SD, Scott Scherer (Jean) of Rapid City, SD and Anne Greene (Scott) of Arlington, VA.; and his sister-in-law Carol James. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Terry Scherer to St. Joseph Villa Assisted Living facility in West Point.
