He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Wolken and Anne Wolken (Dinslage); his stepfather Sylvester Hilz; and his brother Delwin "Red" Wolken. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ceyba; his children, Keith (Angey) of Norfolk, Charlotte, Shawn of West Point, Abigail and Allison Wolken; and his brother Ron Wolken (Joan) of West Point.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
