He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hansen and Diane Hansen (Wiese); his grandparents, Clarence "Bud", Lucille Hansen, Herman and Margaret Wiese; his parents-in-law, Sharon Buck (Ron Buck) and Bill Pottebaum; and his brother-in-law Bryan Pottebaum.

He is survived by: his wife Deb Pottebaum; his son Jeff (Amanda); his stepchildren, Ashlynn and Jaden of Pennsylvania; his sons, Bob and Jaxon; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Buck (Jessica) of Montana, Linda Brown (Marty) and Shelly Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and aunts.
