He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Luebbert and Cunigunda Luebbert (Schlickbernd); and his siblings, Leo Luebbert (Oliva), Marvin Luebbert (Nellie) and Laura Wagner (James).
He is survived by: his wife Verena of West Point; his children, Scott Luebbert of Thousand Oaks, CA and Lisa Sheldon (David) of Bellevue; his brother Donald Luebbert (Teresa) of West Point; and his grandchildren, Bridget Murphy (Kavan), Bethany Antioho (Jeffrey), Christina Kerner (Christopher), Abigail Rossi (Jacob), Lindsay Antoho (Lucas), Dustin Sheldon Sr. and Jennifer Sheldon. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
