He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Peatrowsky and Margaret Peatrowsky (Fillmer); his son Troy; his wife Judy Stafford Retzlaff; and his siblings, Ray Peatrowsky and Delores Miller.
He is survived by: his former wife Lois Wackel; his daughter Tracie Kifer (Travis) of Inglewood; his grandchildren, Kelsey Peatrowsky of Fremont, Lexi Montoya of Inglewood, Travis Jr., Tyler and Brittany Kifer of Grinnell, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Becky Kollars (Bill) of Randolph and Gary Retzlaff (Lydia).
Memorials may be made to the West Point Volunteer Fire Department.
