It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavaine Doerneman of West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Uher and Blanche Uher (Dostal); her husband Wilbur Doerneman; her children-in-law, Ladeta Doerneman, Bernie Humlicek and Butch Shaffer; and her sisters, Arlene Schultz, Delores Adams and Erma Dinslage.
She is survived by: her children, Duane of Wisner, Ronnie of West Point, Sharon "Sherry" Shaffer of Lincoln, Denise Humlicek of Lincoln, Jo (Audry Brungardt) of Newton, KS, Keith (Kim) of West Point and Dale of West Point; and her grandchildren, Lisa Doerneman, Jennifer Doerneman, Diana Doerneman (Brian Knight), Frank Doerneman (Danielle), Amy Fredrick (Jeff), Nicole Shaffer-Bailey (Tyler), Laura Schuetze (Justin) and Luke Doerneman (Emily). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
