He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Petet and Mabel Petet (Lewis); his wife Jo Ann Landholm; his sister Pamela Hancock; and his son Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph of Norfolk and Robert of Nevada; his daughter-in-law Lisa Petet of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Justin (Taylor), Sierra and Grace Petet; his great grandchild Finley Petet; and his sister Sharon Sohl of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
