It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Franzluebbers of West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Peplinski and Anna Peplinski (Buresh); her brothers-in-law, Tony Franzluebbers (Connie) of Dodge and Jim Eggerling of Norfolk; her husband Emil Franzluebbers; her daughter-in-law Betty Franzluebbers; her great grandchild Kayla; her siblings, Gilbert, Donald, Delvin, Robert and Marcella Eggerling; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Franzluebbers, Sr., Gertrude Ernesti (Richard), Charlie Franzluebbers, Wenzel Franzluebbers, Bernie Kampschneider (Mel), Marie Moser, Mary Ann Franzluebbers, Evelyn Peplinski, Pat Glenn and Maynard Wesely.
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Sherry) of Lake Butler, FL, Dan of West Point, Pat of Oakland, Duane of Kearney and Brenda Meis (Eric) of Elgin; her grandchildren, Brian, Amber Franzluebbers, Ashtyn, Skyler and Brooklyn Meis; her great grandchildren, Rylan, Emory, Kylee, Gracelyn and Emilia; her siblings, Duffy Peplinski of Dodge, Vlasta Roubal (Dick) of Dodge, Darlene Glenn of Rapid City, SD, Sylvia Wesely of Omaha and Margie; and her sisters-in-law, Rose Franzluebbers of West Point, Irene Franzluebbers of Dodge, Cel Franzluebbers of Beemer and Margie Peplinski of Pender. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
