She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Riesselman and Ione Riesselman (Peppel); and her husband Ken. She is survived by: her children, Rory Michaelis (Behnaz) of Dublin, Ireland, Kyle Michaelis (Lacey) of Washington, D. C., Kari Atkins (Nathan) and Troy Michaelis (Paola) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Samuel Michaelis, Jonathan Atkins and Michaela Atkins; and her brothers, Dennis Riesselman (Ruth) of Omaha and James Riesselman (Vicki) of Lee's Summit, Missouri..

Masks and social distancing are encouraged at the visitation and funeral.

Memorials may be made to the West Point Community Theatre or to the West Point Library Foundation.
