He was predeceased by: his parents, August Knuppel and Margaret Knuppel (Reimers); his son Scott; and his brother Leland Knuppel. He is survived by: his wife Arla Mae Knuppel of West Point, NE; his children, Jeff, Regan Knuppel of Bancroft, NE, McKenzie, Houston Logan (Derek), Bo, Paula, Marlen Eve of Gettysburg, PA, Emily, Sam (Haley) and Sarah Knuppel of Fremont, NE; his sisters, Marilyn Hesse of Dallas, TX and Neva Pflueger of Norfolk, NE; and also Dean. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be directed to the American Veterans Park in West Point or to the family for future designation in Dean's name.
