David Mandel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Mandel of West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on December 1, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Mandel and Adella Mandel (Bures); his wife Gladys Neesen; his siblings, Eugene, Harvey, Roy, Ray and Marlane Schlautman; and his parents-in-law, Claus, Elizabeth Neesen, Marvin Kucera, Martha, Nobert Schorn and Leonard Neesen.
He is survived by: his children, Don (Sue), Dan (Debbie), Russ (Nancy), Mike and Deann Grovijohn (Steve); his grandchildren, Nick (Kate), Elizabeth (Bradley), Anna (Eric), Megan (Andrew), Samantha, Maximillian, Jacob, Jada, Kyser and Kale; his great grandchild Noah David Winkelbauer; his siblings, Charlene Kucera, Marvin (Marietta) and Rich Mandel (Diane); and his parents-in-law, Virgil Schlautman, Angie Mandel, Mary Mandel and Lavern Neesen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and/or St. Wenceslaus Cemetery Fund.
