It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dale Schlecht (West Point, Nebraska), who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Schlecht and Agnes Schlecht (Lueckenhoff); and his brothers, Brian, Jan and Gregg Schlecht.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Luebbert; his daughter Kari Metschke (Matt); his grandchildren, Allison, Abigail and Aiden Metschke; his son Jason Schlecht (Michelle); his grandchildren, Tristen, Averi and Jett Schlecht; and his siblings, Gary Schlecht, Deb Wiechman, Vickie Welding, Mark Schlecht and Jeff Schlecht.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Minnick Funeral Home-West Point (830 S Colfax St, West Point, NE 68788).
The family requests memorials to the West Point American Veterans Park or to the West Point Fire & Rescue Department in lieu of flowers.
