He was predeceased by: his father Thomas; and his siblings, James Bales and Beverly Grashorn. He is survived by: his mother Ramona of Columbus; his siblings, Mary Trevino of Columbus and Glen Bales (Tina) of Ft. Calhoun, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Bales of Wisner and Roger Grashorn of West Point. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
