He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Jones and Clara Jones (Stephenson); his stepmother Doris Jones; his siblings, Leslie and Jerilyn Wiese; and his brother-in-law Roger Hass.
He is survived by: his wife Trudy Jones of West Point, NE; his children, Eliza Jones of Lincoln, NE, Kim Jones of Lincoln, NE, John Jones of Clayton, NC, Halie, Aiden and Jason Jones of Lincoln, NE; his stepchildren, Brent and Katie L'Heureux of Elkhorn, NE; his children, Henry, Charlie, Elliott, Peter, Jenny, Matthew Sidlo of Hastings, NE, Lucas and Anna; his stepsister Diane (Gene Nelson); and his sister-in-law Susan Hass (Bob) of Ft.
The family suggests that memorials be directed towards: West Point Rescue Department, Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue or a future scholarship to attend welding school.
