He was predeceased by: his brother Melvin "Bud" Patzel; his fathers, Herman Patzel and Alva Patzel; and his son Darrin Patzel (Herman Patzel). He is survived by: his son Alva Patzel (Miller); his close friend Shirley Sahulka; his children, Craig Patzel (Samantha) and Christina Perkins (Seth); his sisters, Mary Sobata and Laverna Zumbrum; and his great grandchild Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces nephews cousins and friends.
