He is survived by: his father Patrick L. Baier of Avoca, NE; his wife Holly Baier of Weeping Water, NE; his children, Keira, Brooke and Zeke; his siblings, Laura K. Baier Campbell (Shane) of Pocatello, ID, Erin D. Baier Blake (Matthew) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kevin P. Baier of Avoca, NE, Lisa B. Baier Orchard (Orin) of Otoe, NE, Anna L. Jones of Auburn, NE and Emily A. Baier Evans (Nathan) of Kansas City, MO; his father-in-law Don Welstead of Union, NE; his brothers-in-law, Clint Kellerman (Mindy) of Union, NE and Kelly Kellerman (Melissa) of Weeping Water, NE; his stepmother Jennifer Blair of Cook, NE; his aunts and uncles, Danny and Clem Benson of Urda, UT; and his friend Kermit Gates (Jennifer).

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (920 Centennial Ave, Nebraska City, NE 68410). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

A Memorial Fund is being established for Curtis's children's future needs.
