Marcile S. Thomas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcile S. Thomas of Wayne, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marcile S. Thomas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Samson and Phyllis Samson-Beck (Blair); her husband Jimmie Thomas; her sisters, Gloria Samson and Fawn Smith; her stepsister Carolyn Bornhoft; her granddaughter Elizabeth Golenor; and her siblings-in-law, June Shaw, Don Shaw and Cliff Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Munter (Jake) of Wayne, NE, Tim Thomas of Wayne, NE and Tammie Thomsen (Craig) of Wayne, NE; her grandchildren, Lucas Munter (Bailey), Amanda Heithold (Jared), Adam Munter (Ashley), Jessica Wagner (Drew), Zach Thomsen and Emilee Thomas; her sister Jane Olds (Ron) of Lincoln, NE; her brother-in-law Layton Smith of Pender, NE; and her stepsisters, Carla Watson (John) of Lincoln, NE and Judy Peters. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (516 Main St, Wayne, NE 68787). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
