We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Gene Kratke of Wayne, Nebraska, born in West Point, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kratke and Louise Kratke (Roth); his wife Marcia Doescher; his siblings, Darnell Kratke and Elvera Bleckwehl; and his nephew Warren Bleckwehl.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Kratke (Carol) of Ponca, NE, Wendy Owens (Greg) of Wayne, NE and Lynn Reed (Jeff) of Dakota City, NE; his sister Mylet Witt of Bancroft, NE; his grandchildren, Alexis Weyhrich (Chris), Dana Kratke, Grant Lander, Tommy, Sofia Reed, Andrew O'Neill (Nicole) and Alex O'Neill; and his great grandchildren, Jack and Ethan O'Neill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wakefield Fire and Rescue Department.
