He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Oberg and Elvera Oberg; and his brother Virgil. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Oberg; his daughter Molly Hofker (Jordan); his granddaughter Olivia Hofker; his sisters, Delores Himmel and Donna Meisinger; his child-in-law Jordan; and his granddaughter Nora.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Nebraska FFA Foundation to honor Wayne's love of agriculture and education.
