She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Volkmer and Laurine Volkmer (Heng); her brother Keith; her sister-in-law Marlene Volkmer; her sister Mary Ann; her brother-in-law Ron Waller; and her nieces, Ronna Bremer and Amy Borrenpohl.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marlene Ricketts (Joe), Lee Michael Volkmer (Mary), Kathy Camby (Shuford) and Gary Volkmer (Celeste). She is also survived by 14 nieces, 7 nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, and the Marian Sisters.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM and from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marian Sister's Mother House (6765 N 112th St, Waverly, NE 68462). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ (3500 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68506).
