She was predeceased by: her parents, John Opitz and Wilma Opitz. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Wright; her daughters, Anne Blazek (Joe) and Elizabeth Virgillito; her grandson Nathan Blazek (Megan); her daughters, Madelyn, Presley and Rowan; her granddaughter Suzanne Petersen (Riley); her great grandchild Charlie; and her grandchildren, Mia Virgillito (Quentin Harouff), Augusto Virgillito and Lucia Virgillito.
In addition, Suzy and Charlie had a passion for Native American causes, leading them to establish the Standing Bear Scholarship fund with the Bar Foundation.
