He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Ernest Christen and Amelia Christen (Wenzl). He is survived by: his wife Mildred (Christen); his daughters, Cheryl Rabstejnek (Chuck) of Blue Springs, NE, Karen Costello (Mike) of Creighton, NE and Joan Hill (Chuck) of Omaha, NE; his sisters-in-law, Clara Bernadt (John) of Sprague, NE and Vivian Puchalla of Tecumseh, NE.; and also, Tony Hindera, Chris Hindera, Lawrence Christen and Roma Christen. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Memorials to the family's Choice may be made in lieu of flowers.
