It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael L. Gale Sr. of Waverly, Nebraska, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Gale and Emma Gale (Taylor); his daughter Dawn Marie; his brother Kenneth; and his grandson Alex Milledge.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Michael Gale, Jr. (Crystal) of Mechanicsville, MD and Bradley Gale (Rikki) of China Lake, CA; his stepchildren, Jennifer Goodrich (Todd) of Trinidad, TX, Dean Osborne of Bellevue, NE and Mikayla Clover (Robert) of Lincoln, NE; and his siblings, Linda Richey (Jack), Sue Gale, Pat Crouse, Cliff, Tony and David.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the CST Roper & Sons Waverly Chapel (10851 N 148th St, Waverly, NE 68462). An entombment was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery.
