He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruff and Lydia Ruff (David); and his brother Roger Ruff. He is survived by: his spouse Day; his grandson Earl John (EJ); his sister-in-law Diane Ruff (Roger); his nieces and nephews, Christie (Fernandez) and Cathy Ruff; and his mother-in-law Delores Wollenburg (Beatrice). He is also survived by 13 brother and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
