It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene M. Althouse of Waverly, Nebraska, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene M. Althouse to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ehmen and Gertrude Ehmen (Carstens); her husband Donald; her son Daniel; and her daughter-in-law Deb.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Larissa), Douglas and Dianne McCoy (Mike); and her grandchildren, Morgan Ridder (Eric), Madison Althouse, Jake, Brian Althouse, Sara Anderson (Carlos), Meghan Hayes (Cody), Daniel, Evan and Jasenna McCoy. She is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel (10851 N 148th St, Waverly, NE 68462). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the CST Cross Roads Church (4401 N 40th St, Lincoln, NE 68504).
