He is survived by: his wife Alice Applegarth (Gawrick); and his children, John Applegarth, Jean Markley (John), Joseph Applegarth (Connie) and Jay Applegarth (Leslie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
