Alan Dwight Reed Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Dwight Reed of Waverly, Nebraska, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Reed (Althouse); his brother Ted; his father-in-law Lawrence Menebroker, Sr.; and also Shane Siebert. He is survived by: his father Mervel Reed (Waverly); his wife Connie; his sons, Jason Reed (Kara) of Lincoln and Todd Reed (Julia) of Lincoln; his granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Reed; his siblings, Beverly Wobig (Tom) and Mike Reed (Lincoln); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Menebroker (Mary), Kenny Menebroker (Kim) of San Antonio, TX and Charlotte Massar (Chuck) of Springfield, TN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and spouses.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church Building Fund or the School.
