He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Wilbeck and Julia Wilbeck (Bahnsen); his parents-in-law, Wilhem and Emma Peters (Krohn); his siblings, John (Elsie), George (Anna), Fred (Gertrude), Anna Oakason (John), Emma Pedersen (Sike) and Elizabeth Gatzemeyer (Elmer); his parents-in-law, Dorothy Gillilan (Norris), Wilbur Peters (Doris), Opal Schultz (Lyle), Vinona McGarrity (Eugene) and Albur Peters; and his great grandchild Vaughn Stratmen.
He is survived by: his spouse Vernal; his children, Tim Wilbeck (Kathleen) of Exeter, Jim (Jane) and Beverley Vanness (Craig) of Wausa; his grandchildren, Kelley Meyers (Al), Travis Wilbeck, Chad Vanness (Kris), Curtis Vanness (Kay), Anne Stratmen (Curt), Terri Jo Mlady (Travis), Kendra Schmidt (Marty), Macy Bloomquist (Kyle Johnson) and Michael Joy (Nickole); and his sister-in-law Florence Peters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
