He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Carlson and Marian Carlson (Bengtson); his sister Karen Clingman; and his niece Jill Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Young (Glover); his children, Rebecca Carlson of Redmond, Washington and Matthew Carlson of Beaverton, Oregon; his stepchildren, Laurie Twibell (Chris) of Brunswick, NE, Larry Young of Tea, SD and Michelle Gunn (Gerry) of Gretna, NE; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Hrbek (Shane), Jacob Twibell, Zachary Young, Zander Young, Elizabeth Gunn, Leah Gunn and Claire Gunn; his stepgreat-granddaughter Ellison Hrbek; and his siblings, Randy Carlson (Beth) of Wausa and Cheryl Baumann (Terry) of Norfolk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
