He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kleinschmit and Leona Kleinschmit (Fernholz); his son Joseph Kleinschmit; his grandson Cody Pick; his sisters, Marina Bollich (Norbert), Doris Paltz (Kenneth) and Virginia Bergman (Donald); and his brother-in-law Kenneth Uhing.
He is survived by: his wife RoseAnn Wuebben of Wausa; his children, Charles (Vicki) of Coleridge, NE, Leonard (Connie McPhillips) of Wausa, David (Staci) of Wausa, John (Darcy) of Norfolk, NE, Marilyn Thoene (Bill) of Hartington, Dan Jr. (Cheryl) of Wausa, Kathy Pick (Tim) of Hartington, Richard (Karen) of Wausa, Darrell (Rachel) of Wausa and Leann Frey of Tilden, NE; and his siblings, Dolorita Uhing of Hartington, Larry Kleinschmit (Pat) of Yankton and Carol Pinkleman (Frederick) of Wynot, NE. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
