He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Swanson; his parents, Nick Suhr and Dora Suhr; his parents-in-law, Otto and Martha Swanson; his siblings, Carl, Tillie, Herman, Ella, Wilma, Albert, Lula, Hilda, Elsie, Walter, Leona and Clara; and his great grandchild Ann.
He is survived by: his daughters, JoAnn Kumm (Dwain) of Wausa, Karen Anderson (Rolan) of Lakeville, Elaine Robins (Charles) of Wisner and Janet Arnold (Gene) of Manteca, California; his grandchildren, Steve Kumm (Cynthia), Kathryn Schechinger (Kenny), Dan Kumm, Mike Kumm (LaNell), Nathan Kumm, Tracy Richter (Mark), Sarah Simon (Russ), Christopher Anderson, Teresa Koenig (Kevin), Christine Ross, Andrew Newquist (Courtney) and Alyssa Arnold; and his sisters-in-law, Gladys Johnson and Leona Wischof. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
