Fortkamp and Sophia Fortkamp (Haarberg); his wife Erma Fortkamp (Donze); his great grandchild Wyatt Smidt; and his siblings, William Fortkamp (Ada), John Fortkamp (Anna), Fredrick Fortkamp (Merle), Ervin Fortkamp (Viola), Albert Fortkamp, Emil Fortkamp (Opal), Arthur Fortkamp (Nina), Laverne Fortkamp, Hilda Roschewski (William), Velma Doetker (Albert) and Violet Long (Wendell).
He is survived by: his children, Duane (Patricia) of McCook and Gayla Swisher (Steve) of McCook; his grandchildren, Michael Fortkamp (Jeanette) of Ponca City, Okla., Kathy Smidt (Kyle) of Kearney, Sarah Lister (Brandi) of Norwalk and David Swisher of Gunnison; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Fortkamp, Morgan Fortkamp, Marcus Fortkamp, Kourtney Lovelady, Ashlyn Smidt and Emma Lister. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Family requests masks be worn to the service and social distancing will be observed at the funeral service.
