He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Widger (Fat) and Eva Widger (Wauneta); his wives, Carol L Smith and Janice G Thompson Widger; and his son Kirk.
He is survived by: his children, Ward (Jo), Carl and Rhonda; his grandchildren, Felicia, Zach, Marlin (Doc), Tommy John and Cami; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Julian, Lily and Alder; his nephew Jim Bob Widger; and his great-nieces, Mari Jo Widger and Felicia Widger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
The family requests that donations to Parkview Heights/Imperial Manor, where Marlin received consistently excellent support and friendship, be made in lieu of flowers.
