He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie James and Loretta Armbruster (Deen). He is survived by: his wife Nikki Bang of Wauneta; his children, Jamie Bartels (Chris) of Council Bluffs, IA and Craig Armbruster of Kearney; his stepson Doug Tillman (Pam) of Wood River; his grandchildren, Noah, Nathan and Clara; his sister Teresa Schimmer of North Platte; and his nieces and nephews, Jacki Jones, Robin Foran and Josh Schimmer (Chloe). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Keith County Veteran's Organizations or the VFW in Imperial in memory of Jim.
