He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bauman and Anna Bauman (Block); his former wife Jeralyn; and his grandson Logan Bauman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Swanson of Kearney; his children, Mindy Young (Marc) of Cozad and Andy Bauman (Karla) of Parker, CO; his grandchildren, Dreu Young (Brynn), Alyson Young (Harrison Racek), Conor Young and Alyse Bauman; his great grandchildren, Maddux Young, Eastyn Green and Mary; his grandchildren, Danielle Bonsack (Jason), CJ Swanson (Vanessa), Michal Swanson (Angie), Matt Swanson (Abbie), Kyle Swanson and Katelyn Swanson (Clay Money); his great grandchildren, Judson, Delanie, Westin, Emersyn, Macon, Keller Bonsack, Cash, Maesa Swanson, Tenley, Raegen Swanson and Jackson Swanson; and also, Owen Swanson (Claudette) of Imperial and Mark Swanson (Kristi) of Phillipsburg, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
