Edward Vapenik Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024, at the age of 97, Edward Vapenik (Wauneta, Nebraska) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Vapenik to pay them a last tribute.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife AnnaBelle Vapenik of Wauneta; and his children, Marty Vapenik of Cozad, NE, Kathryn Repass (Gerald) of Hayes Center, NE, Nancy Malcolm (Rick) of Wauneta, NE and Gerald Vapenik (Kristy) of Wauneta, NE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church (499 S Arikaree Ave, Wauneta, NE 69045). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
