He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Jean Kirchhoff; his children, Kurt (Angie) of Cedar Falls and Lora Nissen (Bill) of Moneta, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jase Seger, Ella Seger and Samuel Nissen; and his siblings-in-law, Arvilla of Wellington, Colorado, Leland (Debra) of Santa Barbara, Galen (Candiss) of Deshler, Nebraska and Steve (Betty) of Hebron, Nebraska.
