She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Bartel; her parents, Alec Kaufaman and Pauline Kaufaman (Shoopman); and her sister Colleen Herman. She is survived by: her children, Craig Bartel of Scottsbluff, Sonia Reisig (Reuben) of Scottsbluff and Ann Marie Hernandez (Aaron) of Elk Horn; her grandchildren, Emilee Reisig, Randall Reisig and Madison Hernandez; and her siblings, Larry Kaufman (Sharon) of Scottsbluff, Rick Kaufman (Jacque) of Scottsbluff, Rod Kaufman of Boise, ID and Sharon Bennis (Pete) of Gold Canyon, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was peacefully lifted into heaven from Heritage Estates at the age of 80 after suffering years with Alzheimer's.
