She was predeceased by: her husband Freeman; her children, Shirley and Clark; her grandson Marty Aylward; and her siblings, Warren Smith and Audrey Burdette.
She is survived by: her sons, Vince McConnell (Kim) of Lake George, CO and Gary McConnell (Helen) of Wallace; her children-in-law, Mary McConnell of Dallas, TX and Pat Aylward of Dickens; her grandchildren, Mike Aylward (Lori) of Dickens, Mari Jo Rugh (Jim) of Windsor, CO, Michelle Barrette (John) of Monument, CO, Annette Kopacz (Joe) of Monument, CO, Jeff McConnell (Pam) of Dallas, TX, Jason McConnell (Elizabeth) of Indiana, Travis McConnell (Heidi) of Wallace, Traci Messersmith (Shannon) of Hershey and Trent McConnell (Stephanie) of Wallace; her stepgrandchild Monica Parrish (David); and her son Mitchell of Austin. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
