He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Edna; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Kjar and Janice Peck. He is survived by: his wife Arlene of Wallace; his children, Betty Aschmann (Rick) of Quito, Larry Unruh (Sharla) of Wallace and José Cherres (Kristine) of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Justin Belsky, Cheyenne Unruh, Levi Unruh, Anne Aschmann, Nathan Aschmann, Sebastian Cherres and Alexander Cherres; his stepgrandchildren, Heidi Barron (Jason) and James Aschmann (Christina); and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Kjar (Sandi) of Irving and Jack Peck of Fort Collins, Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and his friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Wallace Community Church Building Fund.
