He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Sterkel and Pauline Sterkel (Kaiser); his wife Karen Joyce Starck; his daughters, Sandra Sterkel Flack of Wakefield, Neb., Deborah Borg (Victoria Sterkel) of Allen, Neb. and Colo; his grandchildren, Kolton, Ashton Flack of Sterling Heights, Mich, Hannah, Heidi and Hunter Borg of Allen, Neb.; and his brother Harvey Sterkel (Lilly) of Denver.
